Training for my first Marathon (Honlulu 2011). Never took running too seriously until I got the bug to run a Marathon about a year ago. 39 may be a little late to get started, but I feel good and I am motivated.
Short-Term Running Goals:
Complete the Honolulu Marathon in 2011 and 2012. Run a 5K in under 21 minutes.
Long-Term Running Goals:
Qualify for and finish the Boston Maraton.
Personal:
I am married and three kids. I've been a U.S. Marine for the last 21 years and plan on sticking around for at least 5 more.

Finished a 4 mile run with an average pace 20 seconds per mile faster than my marathon goal pace. Just trying to work back into my schedule amid all the distractions. So close to going home!
